말과 글과 이야기 그리고...

My family & I are doing fine by your prayer. Hope you are doing fine with your family.
I've received nice birthday card and letter. Thank you very much for letter & card.
My project and school are going fine.
I've got new school bag, excersice copy, soap, shampoo etc from the project.
I'm very happy to have a new school bag. I can't write you by myself so social worker help me to write you.
I've learnt many things about Jesus attending at the project.
I've memorised and can say Psalm 1:1-3.
My final exam will be held in next month. I'm taking preparation from now.
I pray with my younger brother Sumon and elder sister Shilpi after the project.
My father is a rickshaw van draver. My mother is a housewife. What do you do now?
I always remember you. I love you too.

오늘 아침 2008년 10월 12일에 작성된 셰팔리의 편지가 도착했습니다.
(컴패션을 통해 주고 받는 편지는 여러가지 절차로 인해 보통 2~3개월 정도가 걸립니다.)

생일 카드와 엽서 잘 받았고 오빠와 여동생과 부모님 모두 다 잘 지낸다는 군요.
컴패션 프로젝트도 잘 다니고 있고, 이번에 새 책가방, 연습장, 비누, 샴푸 같은 것들을 받았다고 하네요.
예수님에 대한 많은 것들을 배우고 있고, 특히 시편 1편 1절에서 3절까지 암송한다고 하네요. ㅎㅎ
오~ 감동입니다. 저는 못외웁니다. 시편 1편 1절에서 3절을 보겠습니다.

Psalm 1

1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the wicked, Nor standeth in the way of sinners, Nor sitteth in the seat of scoffers:
복이 있는 사람은 악한 사람들의 꾀를 따라가지 않고 죄인들의 길에 서지 않으며 남을 업신여기는 사람들과 자리를 함께하지 않고,

2 But his delight is in the law of Jehovah; And on his law doth he meditate day and night.
오직 여호와의 율법을 즐거워하고 그 율법을 밤낮으로 깊이 생각하는 자로다

3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the streams of water, That bringeth forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also doth not wither; And whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
그는 시냇가에 심은 나무가 계절에 따라 열매를 맺고 그 잎이 시들지 않는 것처럼 하는 일마다 모두 잘되리라.

아... 참으로 복된 말씀입니다. 날마다 묵상하며 기도해주지 못하는 것이 부끄럽고 미안해 집니다.
늘 기도하지는 못하지만 언제나 마음 속에 있는 것처럼 가난 때문에 상처받지 않고, 가난 때문에 꿈을 꾸지 못하는 일이 생기지 않고, 자신을 지켜주는 든든한 울타리이신 예수님의 사랑안에서 몸도 마음도 건강하게 잘 자라기를 바랍니다. 언제나 늘 참 감사하고 고마운 편지입니다.
